I cut the background lotus die in my card front then inlaid a Similarly cut background from a Color Burst panel then placed a white Lotus outline die cut on top
I am at the camper and just brought alcohol inks, yupo and Stampscapes. I think I would have tried to put light in the buildings in the cityscape card if I was at home
As I keep playing with the alcohol inks and yupo I realize the only limitation is my imagination. I really like how the birch trees with the northern lights turned out! All scenery stamps are by Stampscapes
Online Card Classes had Tim Holtz back with Creative Chemistry 103 this summer. My favorite lesson was creating landscapes by using Alcohol Inks on Yupo! As you can see by some earlier posts this spring I have really enjoyed using yupo. Unfortunately, since the flood I have not been able to find my blending solution for the alcohol inks so these are just straight colors
I used the Memory Box Chrysanthemum Collage die over a multi coloured background made with Zig Clean Color real brush pens
We have such a great spot when we go camping. The sunsets vary so much but always beautiful!
Our town had large amounts of rain in a short period of time earlier this month prompting a state of emergency for two towns. Our basement which has never had water in the 28 years we have been there, flooded with over a foot of water and sewer and unfortunately my craft studio was down there. Except for some stuff stored in lower cabinets, most of my craft stuff was up high enough but is now boxed up. I do have a certain amount of supplies at my camper so created a couple of cards today. One for my Dad’s birthday which I need to find a birthday greeting stamp, and the second one for my niece’s birthday.
