This was fun to make. First I embossed the background using a die cut from Memory Box but cushioned it with a sheet of cork going through the Sizzix so it did not cut. Then I did cut one out but using an idea from Jennifer Mcguire (http://www.jennifermcguireink.com/) I used Glossy Accents to glue down the negative of the flower and peeled away the outline leaving freestanding petals in the exact shape. Each petal was coloured with Memento markers(Rose Bud and Lilac Posies) and covered in Crackle Accents, I am not sure if you can see in the photo that the petals have a textured crackled finish. Enamel accents on the centres of the embossed flowers, and some Washi tape for accent. The hardest part was waiting for everything to dry!
