Distress Watercoloring on Embossed

Using a technique shared by Mel at http://melstampz.blogspot.ca/2012/07/a-happy-secret-tutorial-on-scs.html, I dry embossed the butterflies on water-colour paper and painted them in with Distress Inks spritzed with water

Green Monkey

When I asked my niece what she would like for her birthday she said “well I like green and I like monkeys!”

The monkey is covered in green flocking with pink flocking on his nose

Bluebirds in Flight

Alcohol Ink Splatter

I wanted to enter a tag in Tim Holtz’ Tags of 2012, July edition, so this is it!

Evening Meadow

Sunset Silhouette

Distress inked background with a reverse image stamp clear embossed on top. The un-embossed areas are then coloured in black. This technique from Lisa  Carroll (http://www.lisacarrollblog.blogspot.ca), such a great idea!

Stretch your Stamps Day 11

Using a reverse stamp, heat embossed with white then coloured with Distress stains

Happiness is…

Saw this great idea from Amber at http://damasklove.blogspot.ca/. After stamping with Archival black ink and colouring in the butterflies and flowers, I covered them in Glossy Accents.

Border Stamps

Today’s class dealt with using border stamps in different ways. This is a simple card using two types of border stamps

I found this very sweet vintage image on this site:   http://graphicsfairy.blogspot.ca/
