Back in the Groove


Hope to get some more creative time and perhaps some more creativity. I just played with some inks tonight

This is Today


This was on my walk with my dog this morning. Fog and hoarfrost, calm and quiet. We have had a difficult week as we prepare to say goodbye to my brother in law; my sister’s husband, my husband’s good friend.A full of life, happy, hard working guy who will be greatly missed. Lucky for us we have a large family, and live in a warm caring community so there is no shortage of support.

Patchwork Stamping


In card class on Day 6,Jennifer Mcguire shared a technique on “patchwork stamping”. That is how the multi coloured flower was achieved, definitely a technique that needs more practise

Second Effort at Chalkboard


After I heat embossed the bike in white, I coloured the flowers with my Inkssentials embossing pen,heat embossed with pink, coloured leaves with embossing pen and green heat embossed. Since my white gel pen wasn’t working well,I drew the lines with the embossing pen as well and applied white ¬†embossing powder and heat embossed

Kristina Werner inspired technique. White heat embossing on black card stock. used dry embossing at bottom for texture and a yellow butterfly for just a dash of colour
