Watercolor Petals

With inspiration from Heather at http://cards.heathertelford.com

I tried a couple of other cards today but what I pictured in my head did not turn out so I went to a couple of my favourite blogs, thus the 2 cards today are thanks to them

Day 7 Take 2

This time I used Memento markers instead of Copics and I like the vibrant colours better!

OCC Clean & Simple 3 Day 7

With instruction from Kristina Werner, today’s lesson that I tried was colouring on vellum with Copics and used it behind an inlaid butterfly die cut

Day 5 of Clean and Simple 3 focused on backgrounds. This idea if from Laura Bassen. Using post it note sticky tape and distress inks

OCC 3 day 6!

With inspiration from Cristina Kowalczyk in today’s class, more simple masking to create a card with visual punch!

Masked Background OCC 3 Day 5

Today’s class talked about masking off areas and this is my take on it.

Distress Inks in blue shades for the ombre effect.

Die Cut Inlay Cityscape

I went back to Day 1 of class as I am fascinated by this technique which is like putting a puzzle together after cutting the various designs out of different colours/patterns. Mine is very basic compared to some but I love this card!

Clean and Simple 3, class continues…

Layered stamping, I like this ok but i failed to create a perception of depth, will try again
