I applied Distress Inks to an embossing folder then put it through the Sizzix (Jennifer McGuire did this on her blog!) Once out i sprayed it heavily so the colours would blend. I like the muted look of the background

Catherine Pooler at Stampnation made a card like this. My colours in the middle got a little muddy looking so I stencilled over top to disguise it!

Dylusions Small Shattered Stencil

I used Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo and Spiced Marmalade mini Distress inks and the mini tool to blend the ink over the Dylusion stencil and I love the look, I think it makes a great masculine birthday card

Inlaid die cut again but added a splash of pink behind letters instead of black

I love this quote stamp from Quietfire designs. Used the inlaid die technique with the Simon Says Stamp Butterfly Drift Die, cut once out of white card base, then once out of black and again out of multi coloured. Then put pieces back into the card base.

I saw this on the Silhouette blog this morning and thought it would be perfect for my Dad. I wanted to use a picture of all my siblings (6 of us!) taken a few years ago so had to put it going sideways but I think Dad will like it
