Distress Ink sunset
One of my favourite things is using Distress Inks to create a sky.
I love the feeling of a sunset at the end of the day

For a challenge of Virginia Lu’s over on Stampnation. Multiple images stamped multiple times. Greeting popped up after being die cut and dry embossed, I would not have thought of that on my own but I like the effect!
Started with a 9×11 watercolour paper and randomly painted with watercolours then cut on the Silhouette and cut into four card pieces (i still have enough to make four more similar cards) The negative die cuts were just mounted onto card bases. The “Happy Birthday’s” were tapped with Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder to give them a bit more shine then i put them on two previously prepared card bases that i had made with Distress Inks and stencils
As usual the Online Card Class is brimming with ideas and I am just getting started on trying them! After seeing how Tinstar on stampnation made a card I decided to start with this idea of using smaller dies to create a background and placing them so that you get two cards out of one cut. I don’t have many smaller dies I realized but this is a start!
With inspiration from Virginia Lu over on Stampnation, created this card by masking off first the border, then each repeated rose stamp
So contrary to popular belief…I have not abandoned my blog! It feels good to be a bit creative again. Butterflies coloured with my Chameleon markers
I am entering this in Kathy’s 30 day colouring challenge #thedailymarker30day
