Color burst northern lights

img_1106I decided that I wanted to try and make more Christmas cards throughout the year. I was playing with Color Burst powders today and this sky appeared when I placed a piece of watercolour paper on top of another piece I was working on to soak up the extra water and color so I turned it into a winter scene and Christmas card

Sparkling Hello

Simon Says Stamp’s Hello die coloured with Picked Raspberries Distress Marker and then versa mark and Kaleidoscope embossing powder. On a watercolour background. This will fit another challenge on Stampnation.

The sparkle on the 3D Hello is another idea of Jennifer McGuire’s!

Ombré Embossed resist

Heat embossed background stamp, then sponged on Distress Inks, with the end put on with a brush.

Watercolour Hibiscus

With inspiration from Lydia Evans,  stamped and masked multiple florals images on watercolour paper and heat embossed in white. Spritzed the panel with water, dropped in some watercolours and spritzed some more. Scored the edges for a bit more elegance
