Alcohol inked scene on Yupo paper.  Tree stamps by Inkadinkado and With Sympathy stamp by Quietfire

Poinsettia Christmas

Working with some of Quietfire’s Christmas products today. I stamped the elegant poinsettia several times on vellum with silver heat embossing. I then fussy cut them out and colored the floral part of the image on the back side of the vellum.  The script Merry Christmas die is from Quietfire as well. I cut it from multi colored alcohol inked yupo paper. The card was finished with simple scored lines under the greeting

Updated scene card

IMG_2455I added some deer from Quietfire ‘s Winter wonderland stamp set and heat embossed them in black “puffy” embossing powder then covered it in clear embossing powder so they have some texture.

Colourful skies

Enjoying a couple of days off work and out at the camper. I was experimenting with Zig markers just coloured on Bristol paper, sprayed with water and they blend almost by themselves. I have limited stamps with me so they are not finished nor are they adhered to a card base but the colorful scenes are my favourite things to make

Distress Oxide Inks and perfect pearls

I sprayed perfect pearls through a flourish stencil on a Distress Oxide inked background . It’s difficult to capture the shimmer in a photo

You are amazing

imageUsing the Sizzix/Tim Holtz framelits and stamps, stamped the butterfly with black archival ink on alcohol inked background and die cut it.  I attached it with Kool Tak, a clear dimensional adhesive. The “You are amazing” is another of Quietfire’s lovely script stamps

More alcohol inked northern lights!

IMG_2276This card just makes me happy! Stampscapes trees on the alcohol inked background popped up with foam and matted. Happy birthday die from Quietfire and Elizabeth crafts cut from some similar paper. Sides scored and its done

New colors of Distress Oxide Inks!I

IMG_2274These new colors are the more vibrant ones from the Distress line. I was experimenting with some of them

Faux watercolour panels

IMG_2271Used Zig markers to color the stamps then spritzed them with water before stamping on watercolour paper. Greeting from Quietfire
