Alcohol Ink Washi Tape

Still working on this technique. Trying to make a chevron pattern after cutting the alcohol inked glossy paper into strips on an angle. Tomorrow is another day, perhaps I need to make the stripes thinner? I will see

Whimsical

I first cut the Butterfly Delight die cut from Memory Box from white cardstock then cut it from patterned paper. I then inserted the patterned butterflies into the negative space in the white card stock. I used Glossy Accents on each butterfly and on the swirl and accented with Hydrangea Liquid Pearls

Homemade Washi Tape

Washi tape is all the rage right now and comes in glorious patterns and colours in rolls.

By taking Sookwang double sided tape and applying it to the back of glossy paper which I had already decorated with alcohol inks, I then was able to cut the paper in the strips of tape and voila! ,I had washi tape!

Two different takes on same technique

Distress inks applied to craft mat, sprayed with water and white card stock swiped through, dried with heat tool, swiped again and dried between each layer, until I liked the colours. Archival black ink used for images on top. I like how the results vary so much depending on colours used!
