Shari showed this idea in Stretch Your Stamps 2 (online card classes)
I had the pleasure of meeting her at Simon Says Create in Ohio in the spring. She really is very sweet
Usually I use my Distress Inks on regular cardstock or water-colour cardstock .
Today I stamped on glossy cardstock , and really like the vibrant colours
I found this idea on Pinterest from Lynn Pratt at http://stampndesign.blogspot.ca.
It looks quite cool in real life. Cardstock is scored every 1/2″ in both directions then stamp a background script and floral design. Once dry swipe a versa mark pad over top and clear heat emboss
It was only 2 degrees this morning! Time to get started on Christmas cards.
Perfect medium with PearlEx Antique Silver on the Hero Arts Stunning Snowflake background stamp.
Memory Box Bianca Snowflake die cut from silver paper
Heather on Stampnation (www.thestampnation.com) showed a video on replicating the look of Bokeh photography where you get those halos of light behind the main image. I don’t think I quite got it but it makes for an interesting background
Taking another online class from my favourite Online card classes with Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner. They focused on getting more out of background stamps. This card made with Perfect Medium and Perfect Pearls for background
Doesn’t this remind you of the kaleidoscopes that we had when we were kids?
I got the inking idea from my sister (thanks Sherri!) Multiple colours of Distress Inks blended on cardstock then stencil placed on top and black soot Distress ink applied through
I am entering this in Simon Says Stamp Work It Wednesday Blue challenge
