Penny Black’s Homeward scenic stamp

Using the Misti I stamped the whole image in black, cleaned stamp and restamped with versamark and heat embossed in clear to maintain the sharp black image. Then using some Windsor and newton watercolour and a couple colours of distress inks with water I painted the sky. When I had the colors I wanted, I was worried that I was going to lose the vibrancy of the colors so while it was still wet, I covered the entire panel with clear embossing powder and heat embossed it.

Bride and groom

Silver heat embossed Penny Black’s bride and groom on vellum and placed over an alcohol inked background. Finished off with Quietfire and Elizabeth craft design die cut Congratulations
