Translucent embossing paste

I tried a new technique that Tim Holtz showed on his monthly tag. I alcohol inked a background to resemble a northern lights sky then stamped birch trees on it. Then placed s tree stencil over top and applied translucent embossing paste over that….then had to wait for it to dry! Once dry, I gently applied black ink over to highlight the stencilled part.

Building depth into scenes

Alcohol inked background, then I was working with Stampscapes to build depth into the scene. The animals were die cut then versa mark with black puffy embossing powder for texture, then Versa mark again with plain black embossing powder.
