Our daughter is home visiting for Christmas, and this is the sweet card she made for us!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas . We have been enjoying many days of visiting, baking, relaxing and enjoying the weather that has warmed up from the -38 days(in the week prior to Christmas) to just -10 and -15 these last few days.

Mini Scene Place Cards

The resident’s Christmas family supper is tomorrow, and nothing like a little procrastination to get me motivated! I wanted to make place cards but left it until tonight…but I am happy with how they turned out. I heat embossed various combinations of scenes with white embossing powder then various combinations of distress inks.

Christmas Auction

I put together these 10 Christmas cards and donated them to our local Health Centre’s Christmas auction which benefits the long term care residents. Imagine my surprise and delight when they sold for $150! We live in a very community minded town and people are very generous to support local causes.

Distress Inks lightly to embossed die cuts. Found some Christmas carol sheet music from 2004, seemed a good match,distressed the edges and added Vintage Photo Distress Ink to edges and a bit Of Worn Lipstick Distress ink to the centre
