First Christmas cards of 2015
Both cards use the “Snowy Night” stamp and Merry Christmas stamp from Rubbernecker Stamps
This one clean and simple. Distress inks and perfect pearl water and then versa mark and clear heat embossed.
This one is a shaker card
Surf’s up!
I heat embossed the giant wave stamp from Stampscapes on watercolour paper, then spritzed the paper with water and used Indigo Color Burst Powder and Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink Re-inkers for the water.
Color Burst Earth tones
As soon as I saw the new colors for the color burst powders, I immediately thought fall and leaves changing color. Using the Watercolor Branch stamp from Rubbernecker stamps I made this card!
I am entering this in Simon Says Stamp Work it Wednesday challenge Fall themed cards
Shades of blue
Distress inked panel that I sponged through a stencil with a baby wipe, gives it a batik appearance?
I thought it would make a nice sympathy card
Inspired by Jennifer McGuire
Jennifer shared this technique on her blog recently, she calls it Faux textured metal paper created by putting Perfect pearls over a Distress inked background (in this case, masked off) then running the panel through an embossing folder. The centre in this card uses bronze perfect pearls. This is another example, in this case silver perfect pearls powder was used
I have to finish this one yet, but that’s all the time for now!
