3D butterfly drift

Simon Says Stamp Butterfly Drift die cut once on a vibrant alcohol inked Yupo and once on black card stock. I put the colored outline down first and inserted the black butterflies but did not like the look so I added foam squares and popped up the matching colored butterflies on top of the black ones. Quietfire’s Happy Birthday in elegant script in black and score lines finishes the card

Reflection 2nd try!

Using another Tim Holtz cityscape, London this time, I did the same reflection technique but this time on watercolour paper instead of Bristol   Edges softened with light Distress Oxide Inks

I think I prefer the crisper image that I got on the Bristol paper.

Cityline Reflection

Inspired by a card on Pinterest by understandblue.blogspot.ca. I used Tim Holtz ‘s Sydney skyline, colored it with zig markers then spritzed with water. I had scored the card in the middle prior to stamping. I used a paint brush to swipe below the stamped image then folded the image down into the damp paper to get the reflection. Then because I was using the Misti, I was able to re-stamp the original image to sharpen it up again.   The quote is one from Quietfire. It’s perfect for this as we were lucky enough to see the Sydney Opera house in real life and it was amazing

Layered and matted turquoise floral

I was just playing and had no clear direction with this card. On an alcohol ink on Yupo background I used silver embossing paste through a Penny Black stencil on the right and Brushed Pewter Distress crackle paint through a Tim Holtz stencil on the left. Then I triple cut, matted and used dimensional adhesive and layered it back together! Greeting is one cut on the Silhouette
