This was from one of the pieces I made at the camper. A distress ink blended background with a tree stencil spritzed with water and placed over top gives that surreal looking background which was perfect for Hero Arts silhouette grass stamp heat embossed in copper. Finished with the Sympathy and decorative flourishes from Quietfire design
This card incorporates many of my favourite things…northern lights, alcohol inks on Yupo, Stampscapes cabin in the woods and Quietfire Happy Birthday die from Elizabeth Crafts! I used a Spellbinders M-bossability embossing folder of wood grain for the card base
I wanted to make some one layer cards to donate so I am just doing some first and second generation stamping while I am out at the camper. Once home I will add the greetings and some scoring or such to finish them upAll of the stamps were coloured with Zig markers and spritzed with water prior to stamping. The two in front are first generation stamped with some masking
With inspiration from a video of Jennifer McGuire’s, distress inks on an acrylic block, spritzed with water and applied to watercolour paper. The third card uses a die from Elizabeth crafts and Quietfire designs. The second card uses a stamp from Quietfire Design with Suzanne’s calligraphy script. The first card uses a die from Simon Says Stamp
Working with limited supplies at the camper but I am happy with how these turned out
I sure like this technique of Loll’s ( stampingwithloll.com)
I will enter this over at CAS mix up card challenge for July
I was visiting one of my favourite blogs on the weekend http://www.stampingwithloll.com and she shared this technique of putting inks on tissue paper
